I agree! We've taken 3 UHaul loads to California (one 17 foot and two 26 foot trucks). Load number 4 (final??) goes on Thursday.

That's why I decided I'm not moving again (after we moved to our current house)! Then I counted the times I've moved in my entire life - something like 20+. And I agree with daisy_knotwise - although it is fun finding stuff you forgot you own 16 years later...

well i am tired of you moving too!

i will be at jill's on sunday night. monday i will travel west. I do want to see the new house and visit with you. I have givin up on being home on monday. i asked your neighbor, for a bed since yours are in flux. i have not found an answer yet.

so i can call you on the way and let you know my progress.

If my neighbor doesn't answer, we can put you up. That's not the problem. The only problem is it might be a futon on the floor -- and I won't know until then which floor it's on!

Seriously, I'm not in shape to do the hostess thing, getting food stocked before hand and that kind of preparation. But if you're willing to camp out a bit, sleeping surface is no problem, and food comes in carry-out packages.
