Writer's Block: Unnecessary Objects

Oscar Wilde, a dandy’s dandy, once said that “we live in an age when unnecessary things are our only necessities.” What unnecessary possession can you not live without?
Perfumed bath salts.  Entirely frivolous, but unendingly wonderful for my soul.  But, if I really had to choose just <i> one </i> unnecessary thing to keep and give up all others, my TIVO is it.  (I suppose this would mean I'd have to give up the other two TIVOs,  huh?)
